Caution: Brilliant Minds Ahead! Have you ever wondered who the people behind the development of new products are? Following the recent FDA clearance of an addition to our intelligent infusion systems portfolio, we asked a few R&D team members to share their favorite part of working on the innovative platform. Thanks to Aaron Hexamer, Jessie Abruzzo, Rohan Thadani and the many other contributors around the world for bringing your brilliancy to Baxter. #ThisIsWhere

Community is at the heart of kidney health, and Taiylor Kriss is no stranger to the power of connecting with others. Throughout her kidney care journey, she has sought—and created—community through advocacy and social media. Now post-transplant, Taiylor feels inspired to support others. “All patients deserve to know what is happening to them, which is why patients need to share their experiences.” See Taiylor’s story here: https://bit.ly/3V9gbhU #KidneyHealthForAll #AccessKidneyCare

Have you ever entered a patient room in a hospital or doctor's office and wondered how all of the necessary devices, tools and technology got there in the first place? Well, we think about it a lot! Over the last year, Baxter teams implemented some of our largest product installations to date, working with hospitals and clinics around the world to bring products and connected technology to care teams and patients who need them. Today we're recognizing the many team members it takes to implement our solutions from start to finish. The teamwork here is unmatched!

With surgery, it's about all the small details. And that extends beyond the operating room. Helping patients that need support and medical treatment is paramount - but sometimes this care option can cause complications and lifelong pain for those patients. Those complications can be caused by adhesions, which are not preventable by techniques alone. ¹ ² During a summit with a group of 35 surgeons, under the scientific lead by Prof. Fausto Catena, we interacted, reviewed innovations and learned from strategies that can help reduce adhesions and improve patients’ outcome. A valuable exchange and an extraordinary scientific committee thanks to the speakers, participants and everybody involved in organizing this event. References: 1. Sikirica V, et al.
