Upon completion of this session, you will understand:
- The value of a current, accurate PET
- Functional differences between Icodextrin and glucose solutions in relation to transport status
- The need to control salt intake and water, if necessary
- The role of RKF and urine output in volume management
- How to optimize diuretic use to improve volume status and lower glucose exposure
- Key membrane preservation techniques
- Incremental start PD
- ACE-I and ARB use
- How to differentiate volume overload from UF insufficiency
